As someone who has a ton of things on their plate at all times, I have to be the one to tell you that I am not motivated to do all the things all the time. Motivation comes and goes. And while I don’t let a lack of motivation stop me, it is important to sit down and figure out why I’ve lost my motivation. And I suggest you do the same.
This life is unpredictable and we have to learn how to be resilient. But resilience doesn’t have to look like working yourself to exhaustion – like we’ve been taught. Resilience can mean taking the time to mindfully check in with yourself and adjust your plans if you need to. Your lack of motivation is saying more than you think.
