I’m actually on the other side of it, but I still sound horrible. I feel fine though. I’ll be answering questions. I usually stay on until the last person’s on. I’m not in a rush to get off. So we will be sure to answer anything that comes up. All right. So what can you expect from this webinar? By the end of this webinar, you are going to learn what it is that is holding you back and how it’s possible to change your life in 90 days.
It doesn’t have to take forever and it doesn’t have to be hard. I know this because I’ve taken all the wrong routes and I’ve reinvented my life many times, but I’m going to show you the thing that’s stopping you, how to actually execute it. But then we’re also going to go over three main strategies that have not only helped myself, but they’ve also helped over 250 clients.
So these are tested strategies. So who are you? You are in the right place if you are. So maybe your notebook is full of big ideas, but the fear of maybe picking the wrong path is keeping you stuck. So maybe as you think about all of the ideas you have or in your journal, it’s really filled, but nothing is really seen outside of you.
It only exists kind of in your mind or in your journal. Number two is the overthinker. So maybe you start projects, but you really struggle with consistency and you’re always second guessing yourself. And what you know is that it’s time to quiet the inner critic, and you’re ready to take bold action. And you may resonate with more than one of these.
The next one is the people pleaser. So this one, a lot of moms tend to be in this category or eldest daughters tend to be in this category because what happens is you end up spending so much time making other people happy that you put your dreams on hold and you’re ready to prioritize yourself.
You’re like, okay, I’ve done this, but. this isn’t working anymore, right? I can’t help other people unless I’m helping myself. And then number four, which I think is a lot of people, um, I love this name, the unfulfilled achiever. So this individual has checked off all the boxes. So maybe you have a job that you are really proud of.
Maybe you like went to school, you did all the right things. And You’re wondering why you’re not happy. You’re like, I did all the things I was supposed to do, but you’re ready to do something meaningful and you really want to be aligned with your passion. So one of my clients, Nancy, who was a lawyer, she’s like, I’m part of the 2 percent of women, Latina lawyers, and I want to leave it.
And she was exactly this person. I mean, I could, I could tell you clients for each one of these. I could tell you in my life as well.
So, you’re also in the right place if 2024 didn’t go your way. And if I can be honest with you all, 2024 did not go the way that I thought it was going to go in my life and in my business, and that’s totally okay, right?
But we could just let our dreams die in the year of 2024, or we can hit our 2024 goals in the first 90 days of the new year. Many times, there’s a lot of factors that go into why we don’t reach our goals, and I’m going to talk about some of them today. But it could simply be putting too much on your plate.
It could be life things came up. It could be work things came up, right? There’s so many different factors. And if you feel that 2024 did not go the way that you wanted, but you don’t want to give up on whatever it is that you wanted to do, then you are definitely in the right place. So let’s talk more about you.
You have big dreams. Maybe you want to launch a business or write a book or start a podcast or make a bold career move. Anything that you want to do is welcomed here. But the thing is that you may feel overwhelmed by where it is that you should start. Where do you begin? What are the steps you take? And you know that you’re meant for more.
but you’re stuck in overthinking and almost waiting for the right time to act. So like, Oh, when my kids get older, or once I get my other degree, or once I know it’s for sure what I want to do. And this idea of waiting for the right time when there really is no right time. The other thing is you have many ideas and passions that it feels impossible to choose just one.
And you don’t want to pick the wrong path. Right. So it’s, it’s. hard to make a decision, but then it’s like, what if I do make a decision and I make the wrong decision? And maybe you’ve started projects before, but you didn’t see them through. So now you find yourself feeling stuck, or maybe you feel ashamed because you didn’t finish them.
And you’re just overall frustrated with yourself. You’re like, I know I’m a driven person. I got through school. I did this hard thing. Why can’t I seem to execute these projects that I want to execute? And then last but not least, which I think most of us would is literally everybody. People who say they don’t have self doubt, I don’t believe them.
I think they just don’t know. I think they just don’t know what that is, but Your self doubt just takes over. You start thinking, what are people going, going to say? Que gente? Or what happens if I fail? Or this is a big one, especially for our community. This idea that my life isn’t that bad, right? Oh, I should just be grateful.
Or the other one, um, I can’t be too successful, right? Because then people are going to say, who do I think I am? Or I might lose my community if I’m too successful.
Okay, so who am I? Who’s the person on the other side of the zoom screen or of the Instagram screen. My name is Erica Cruz. I am a coach. I’m a speaker and I am the podcast host of Chingona revolution podcast. And I’ve worked on many different goals, dreams, and projects.
And I’ve changed my life many, many times from working a tech job that was successful on paper to walking away from that, creating content and launching a coaching business. in 90 days. I also went from building the courage to end an engagement and then found massive self love, confidence, launched my business, all of that at the end.
Um, I went from drinking at every family party because I’m Mexican and like, of course we drink, and to being completely sober for over a year. A year. And it has been one of the best things that I’ve done, but it was hard. It was a habit. It was a social thing. And I also went from being so insecure as a teenager and young adult to end up, I ended up being on the front page of the New York Times and sharing valuable stories on my podcast.
on stages, um, especially sharing the story of calling off the engagement with over 600 people live. So I went from being this super insecure person to doing that. And I’m going to show you how I did this and how I’ve helped some of my clients as well. So what is it that you want? Let’s see, I thought I had, oh there we go, this slide.
You want to change your life. Bottom line, whatever it is that you want to do, you want to do something that’s going to help you change your life. Whether that is securing a new job that pays you 40 percent more and gives you more flexibility, or allows you to pivot to a new industry, or Maybe you want to write a book that changes people’s lives.
Maybe you’ve had this dream of being an author. Or you want to launch your award winning podcast. You’re like, I know I want to start a podcast. Maybe, you know, whatever it is that’s stopping you. Maybe you’re like, there’s already so many podcasts out there. Why am I going to do it? But you want to change your life through a podcast, or you also just want to be confident regardless of what anybody thinks or says about you.
Maybe you want to become a coach so that you can help other people change their lives. Maybe you were able to get out of debt and start building your, your fine, your financial freedom. And being able to retire early and you want to help other people do the same. Or maybe you want to be a CEO so you can start the candle business so that you can start a lash business or whatever business you’ve dreamt of.
Maybe you want to start the Instagram page and then actually post and keep posting. Maybe you want to go on a date with confidence. So. I don’t know which of these exactly resonates with you, but I do know that at some level, the core desire that you have is to change your life. Something that’s happening in your life, in your business, you want to change it.
But why is this not happening? It’s not happening because you lack the courage to do it. So you haven’t changed your life because you lack courage. Here’s how I know that you lack courage. Maybe you sound something like this. I need it to be perfect. So, you’re like, alright, before I start this thing, the podcast, the book, I need it to be perfect.
It needs to be right. And you just get kind of stuck in the research phase. Or, maybe you tell yourself, people are already doing the thing that I want to do. I want to do this thing and people are already doing it, so is it even worth me going to do it? Another one, it’s just not the right time. Another one, once I get my certification or degree or more training, then I’ll start.
Another one is, I don’t want to try and then fail. I’m still not sure exactly what I want to work on. I mean, I could go on and on with the thoughts and point of views that come up whenever we are at the core just lacking courage. So the thing is, you lack courage when it comes to changing your life, but it’s not your fault.
So let’s go into what courage is. Courage is not the absence of fear. Courage is feeling the fear and doing it anyway. It’s taking the aligned action despite uncertainty, despite judgment, or the risk of failure. It’s saying, I am terrified right now, and I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I’m still going to move forward.
Instead of staying, trying to control everything outside to make sure you don’t fail, to make sure these other things don’t happen. So, remember, courage is not being fearless. Courage is to take action despite feeling fear. And why is it that individuals of color, or women of color, or just underserved communities, why is it that we lack courage?
And the lack of courage is not a personal flaw. This is not an attack on you. It’s not an attack on myself. It’s really rooted in systematic and cultural barriers. So the thing is that many Latinas, many women of color, maybe individuals of color, are We grow up in environments that prioritize survival over self expression, especially if your parents were, were immigrants, right?
They’re just trying to survive. They’re not over here trying to ensure that you get into the best school with the best job. Yeah, they’re telling you go get an education, but at the core, it’s really just around survival. And we’re raised with these cultural expectations to play it safe, to avoid risks, to And to fit into these roles that are already predefined.
This is why calling off an engagement was one of the most courageous things I did. As a Mexican woman, that was the next step for me. And I found somebody who my family loved. And They loved him probably more than I did, and in the end, calling off the engagement was one of the best things I could have done, but it felt like I was going against everything that I was culturally taught to believe.
So, why is it that we lack courage? First, cultural conditioning. So, maybe messages that we’ve heard of, Calladita te ves más bonita. You look prettier when you’re quiet. Um, I think the literal translation for this, uh, in English is, not, I’m sorry, not the literal translation. The saying in English is, women should be heard and not seen.
Seen and not heard. I said it backwards. Women should be, would, yeah, seen and not heard. There we go. The another one is no haga sola, so don’t make waves. And these cultural conditioning and these sayings, they teach us to stay small. They teach us to not take up a lot of space. And then add on the factor of if your family’s ever had history of being undocumented, You’re literally taught to hide.
So it’s best to not be seen. So if you’re sitting here like, oh, I want to go and create content, but yet, like, your parents were undocumented or you were undocumented, of course that’s going to be so difficult for you. Is it possible? It is possible. But it’s important to understand how this block isn’t your fault, but it is something that you can overcome.
Another one is the fear of judgment, right? So this fear of what are people going to say about me, it runs really deep in our communities and it takes it hard, it makes it a lot harder to take action. The other thing is we come from this collectivist culture, not individualistic. So If you come from an underserved community, chances are multiple generations of family live together.
So as you’re making decisions, it’s not just what’s going to benefit you, but what’s going to benefit the community. And suddenly now we are in either Canada or the United States trying to become the best version of ourselves. And it’s like, no wonder at home, it’s this collectivist culture. And then at school and in social environments, it’s like, no, what do you want?
And of course we’re having this identity crisis. Another one is perfectionism and the pressure. So a lot of you are first generation and whenever you are a first generation Latina or first generation professional, many of us carry the weight of our family sacrifices and we’re taught to avoid failure at all costs because it can feel like we’re letting somebody down.
Which leads me to the next one of just be grateful, right? This is another one where really we’re taught to be humble and just be grateful for what we have. Rather than to strive for more and while there’s a lot of truth and be grateful, yes, be grateful, but how can you also strive for more at the same time?
How can you be grateful for what you have and look to the future with optimism? Look to how when you become the best version of yourself, everybody benefits. Another one is lack of representation. So we don’t see a lot of people who look like us taking courageous steps. And I mean, obviously now it’s a lot better than it was 20 years ago, but even then, and it’s harder to believe that it’s possible for us.
Two, whenever we don’t see people who look like us in the spaces we’d like to be in. So, it is not your fault that you lack courage. But it is your responsibility to build courage. For your well being, for your family’s well being, for everybody’s well being. So I want you to know that changing your life is possible.
And it does not have to take long. It can take less than 90 days. You just need, what a surprise, courage. And I don’t mean, you know, courage, like, just be brave because I want you all to know that your pure existence In today’s society is an act of courage, but what we all need is the courage to strive for more, the courage to say, I deserve better, the courage to listen to that little voice that keeps whispering, start the business, start the podcast, create the content, work on your confidence, ask for the raise that little voice that keeps coming back over and over.
That’s what we need the courage to go after. And the thing is that courage helps you achieve your goals a lot faster. I think sometimes people think that, oh, you’re just courageous or you’re not. But courage isn’t just about feeling good in the moment. It’s actually something that can be created through coaching.
It could be created through working on yourself. Courage can be built You can do all the research in the world regarding how to drive, but at some point you have to get in the driver’s seat.
And that’s how you’re actually going to learn. So we know that you want to change your life. We know that what you need to change your life is courage. That’s the skill that you need. But there’s another thing that you need. And this other thing that you need is structure. This is where a lot of people get stuck.
This is why sometimes we start and then we stop, and I, I started and stopped many times. So, I’m introducing the Courage Project Plan. So, what is a Courage Project? Honestly, it’s anything that you want to work on. We just put it into a Courage Project, which is The structure, it’s the framework that helps you know what to do next.
So specifically the courage project plan is that step by step detailed plan that lets you know what it is that you are going to work on and what happens next. So a courage project plan is a step by step plan that helps you reach your goals in 90 days. The rules for a courage project is that it has to excite you.
It has to scare the heck out of you, it has to make the world a better place, and it has to, or, and it does change your life in 90 days. So, that’s why we call it a courage project, because remember, a courage means that you’re afraid, but you still take the action. So why is it that the structure of a plan works?
It gives you a structure to follow. It’s also very specific and because it’s connected to a bigger purpose, as we say, it makes the world a better place, you are less likely to give up. So this structure just gives you actions that need to be taken. We simplify it so it doesn’t feel overwhelming and then you always know what it is that you do next.
The result of this is that you make your goals a reality in 90 days. So let me give you all some examples of projects that people have worked on. People have worked on launching a podcast, pivoting their career to a new industry. They have started the business. They have built the confidence to start dating.
Some people have dated after a divorce. Other people have dated for the first time. Other people have dated after a heartbreak. I mean, all of that. Um, the Project of growing your self love. That’s a big one actually. So many people lack self love, so using that, using the Courage Project to grow your self love is a great way of using it.
Another one is to build community, to create content, to negotiate your salary. It could be anything, but the reason it works is because we give you a structure to follow. Actually, in this round of my group program, Courage Driven Latina, somebody’s working on making like biodegradable nail products. And her, I mean, her courage project looks very different than somebody who’s working on a coaching business, which looks a little bit different than somebody who’s working on building their self love.
But it works for everybody because it follows exactly what your goals are and you just have to follow the actual framework. So let’s look at some examples. So how 90 days using a courage project? So Liz went from struggling to set boundaries to being a booked out boundary coach. So she was like, her pain really did become her purpose.
She was having a really hard time setting boundaries with family members. She started to do research on, on boundary setting. And then she ended up taking on 10 clients. for boundary coaching. Another one is my client Nancy walked away from a law career to a fulfilling new role. I actually did an Instagram live with her.
Let me just quickly look at the chat, make sure I’m not missing anything. Great. Olivia went from being a poetry lover to a published author. She also ended up leaving her job in education and took this amazing job that allows her to travel the world and write about her travels because she loves writing, she loves traveling, and then she found this opportunity.
Um, so now I just follow her on Instagram and look at all her amazing journeys and I’m waiting for her book to come out so I can promote it for her, but. Anai went from being a podcast listener to a podcast host. So, um, more about her podcast coming up. But the thing is that they changed their lives by building the skill of courage and using that framework in 90 days.
It really doesn’t have to take very long. And you may be wondering, like, why 90 days? So, it usually takes 12 months. Takes 12 weeks, which is 90 days with a courage project. And why 90 days? Research shows that 90 days is how long, how long it takes to build a habit. So what we have found through coaching hundreds of women, is that when we try to do all of the different things, we’re going to give up.
But if you could put something into a project for 90 days, that project leads to another project, which leads to another project, and you can accomplish so much more. By focusing and adding structure and building the skill of courage. So that is why 90 days is kind of the magic timeline that we have found.
Because then one project almost becomes a habit. Like, oh yeah, now it’s just a habit to build confidence. Now it’s just a habit to post, to post. content. Now it’s just a habit to work on my business. And then you can start a new one. So now let’s get into the strategy. How is it that you can build the courage to change your life?
So I’m going to cover three different strategies with you. And these are courage project strategies, which again, remember courage project could be anything, whatever it is that you want to work on. It could be working on your confidence, creating content, starting a business, working on your career, any of that.
So the first one is the courage compass. I’ve said this many times, you can do everything you want to do. You just can’t do it all at the exact same time. You have to start with at least one. And we do that by helping you. We help you do that by introducing the courage compass. So maybe it’s career or relationships or your well bit wellness or spirituality, or maybe it is creating content, or maybe it’s a business.
So what is a courage compass? It is your first step in creating massive change in your life. Before you dive into any action, this strategy helps you pinpoint one specific area in your life that you want to transform. Again, whether it’s your career, relationships, self confidence, or a creative project.
Why does it work? It works because it focuses on a single direction. So that way you are reducing your overwhelm. It also increases clarity and it makes it easier to take meaningful steps forward. The other thing about a courage compass is that usually we help you pick the first one that’s going to help you do many more things.
So your first project helps you execute more projects. Before a courage compass. You’re, you’re going to feel directionless and anxious and like you can’t pick the one thing to start with. You may be trying to do everything at once and maybe you get overwhelmed, maybe you start and then you stop and then eventually you give up and you go back to your comfort zone.
After implementing the Courage Compass, you have a clear direction as to where you’re going. You know what it is that you want to do and you feel, you feel calm knowing that I might not be getting to everything in this moment, but I’m going to get to everything because I have a plan. Because the courage compass is only the first step.
And then we have something called the courage ladder, and then that one helps you pick all of your different projects that help you get to your end goal. But it does help you reach your goals with ease. So this is my client, Bianca. She’s a social media manager now, but she’s also a money coach. When I met Bianca, She had a ton of ideas and little direction.
She knew that she wanted to leave her job. She knew that she wanted to create content and start a money coaching business, but she was just overwhelmed with all of the different things. I mean, imagine she was working in finance. So leaving a finance job and then also creating content and then also starting a business.
It was a lot, but after implementing the courage compass, what we found was What we found was that she just needed to work on her confidence, on her confidence and her self trust to leave her job, to start creating content and showing up and to start taking on money coaching clients. As soon as we gave her that first focus, she then within 90 days left her job.
Um, started to create content and took on some of her first money coaching clients. Now she’s actually the social media manager of a different wealth management firm that her partner and her started. So in the end, like it took her starting on that first project for her to end up finding her purpose and being really clear on what it is that she wanted to do.
All right, second strategy. This is, this is probably my favorite one. The obstacle plan. So what is it? Most people are terrified of failure, even me, even me. But the thing is that we only fail when we stop trying and obstacles are going to come up, right? Can you imagine though if you lived a life without any obstacles ever, if everything just worked out for you, that would, that would be an interesting life.
I bet you would not be the type of person that you are today. So, um, an obstacle plan allows you to plan for obstacles before they happen so that you already have a plan of action to overcome them. And this works because it shifts your mindset from fear to preparation, and it gives you this sense of control over the unknown.
And by anticipating the challenges and thinking ahead about the solutions, you’re less likely to give up whenever you have obstacles. And it also reinforces the idea that like setbacks are normal. So you’re almost like, Oh, I planned for this. I knew this was going to happen. And that reduces the emotional impact of failure and allows you to keep going.
So let’s just think about some obstacles. These are obstacles. A lot of my clients have, have faced. Maybe, um, you start a podcast. And you invite somebody and they say no to being on your podcast. That, that can feel like a failure. It can feel like an obstacle. Or maybe you get ghosted by somebody on a dating app.
Or you go on a really good date and then they like, don’t text you again. Or you finally post a piece of content and you only get a few likes. Or you get rejected from a job. That you really wanted. Or maybe you tried to negotiate your salary and your management said no. Like, what happens then? Do you just give up then?
And then the other one, maybe your family members or your coworkers are judging your project. Whatever your goal is, whatever it is that you’re working on, you can feel the judgment come through. So, what is the obstacle plan, the before and after. So before implementing the obstacle plan, you’re going to be worried about failing.
You’re not going to get started. And if you do get started and then face an obstacle, you’re going to want to give up. You’re going to be stuck in the what if thinking. What if this happens? What if that? And it just stops you from being able to take action. After implementing an obstacle plan, you know exactly what you’re going to do in the face of obstacles.
You’re going to have the, I’ll figure it out mentality. You feel in control because you’re like, wait, I thought about this ahead of time. This isn’t coming out of nowhere. The other thing is you’ll complete the training program. If you are like trying to run, you’ll finally showcase your, your art. You’re going to start the business when you have an obstacle plan.
Let me give you an example. This is my client, Kay. I was talking about Kay before we started recording, but Kay’s an awesome success story. Her parents are from the Philippines and she’s a kickboxing coach. She’s actually my kickboxing coach. So the gym that I go to, that’s where we met. And when I met Kay, she had this desire to take on one on one clients for kickboxing.
but she was worried. These are like straight from her obstacle plan. I took them straight from her plan and put them in here. She said, somebody may not like me and ask for a refund for their sessions, or the price might be too high, or there may be, may not be any interest at all. And after implementing the obstacle plan, she had a solution for every potential obstacle.
This one here, somebody may not like me and ask for a refund for their sessions. we’ll just create a refund policy. Simple as that, right? There’s, there’s so many other people that are interested in, in her sessions. Or the other thing of is, the price might be too high. And she was like, well, I can create payment options.
And she did. And she said, there may not be any interest at all. And then the plan, the almost the contingency plan for that one was, and she came up with these on her own, but she was like, well, at least I tried. I wouldn’t know unless I tried. And it’s like, that’s so true, right? The biggest failure is actually not trying at all.
So after implementing the obstacle plan, she had a solution for every obstacle, and then she launched a couple of weeks later, and she sold out her sessions. She’s already done with her first project. project. Now she’s working on a content project. She’s like, I think I want to do more on social media. I’m like, perfect.
Let’s redirect. Let’s do that now. I actually saw her today. She’s great. And then last but not least, the accountability loop. So here’s the thing. Um, before, actually, before I even start reading this one, I just wanted to say many times, You know, we hear people say, Oh, who cares what people think? And it shouldn’t matter what other people think.
And it’s like, yeah, from a logical perspective, that makes sense. But from a human perspective. We all care what people think because humans are wired for survival. We’re all meant for connection. We’re all meant to Um be approved by other people especially because when we lived in caves hundreds of years ago If you were kicked out from the tribe that was death So our brains still look at approval or still look for approval from that place so This next strategy is the accountability loop, right?
And how to look for accountability. But one of the things I didn’t really write on the slides, which is why I was like, hold on, let me just talk to you all for a second. We all are going to care what people think. And when your family doesn’t understand your goals or your dreams or your closest friends aren’t on the same journey as you, it can feel really lonely and you can begin to question if something is actually for you or not.
And that is why this is one of the most effective strategies. And this strategy is the account, whoops, the accountability loop. And the reason that this is such a important strategy is because if we know that we’re going to care what people think, Whose opinion do we care about? So the accountability loop is a continuous cycle of actions and feedback that keeps you on track towards achieving your goals.
And it’s designed to maintain momentum, build consistency, and provide clarity through reflection and adjustments. So the thing is, whenever you’re working on something like a courage project, this Accountability, accountability loop works really well because it ensures steady progress while addressing the challenges along the way.
So when you know that somebody else is counting on you or watching your progress, you are less likely to give up. Accountability creates this sense of responsibility to show up, not just for yourself, but for other people. So this accountability, accountability loop is all about teaming you up with somebody who’s working on a similar project.
You check in with one another. And you hold each other accountable. So what happens is by combining external reinforcement with internal motivation, it keeps you focused. It keeps you supported and disciplined. And you’re going to reach so much more than if you were tackling something alone. Um, I’ve heard, you know, like, what would you do if a documentary crew was following you around?
And it’s like, I’d probably make my bed a little bit better. Honestly, I’d probably ensure that I brush my teeth for the full two minutes that’s recommended. I’d probably, you know, like, wash the dishes more gracefully. And it’s true, when we know somebody’s watching us, it does create this sense of responsibility to show up and show up well.
And when you’re surrounded by other people who are also working on projects, it makes a huge difference. So what is the before and after of an accountability loop? So before, you’re not allowing yourself to go through, you’re not allowing yourself to follow through on the things that you say you’re going to do.
You maybe are really letting family members or, or co workers opinions get to you. You’re procrastinating. Again, you’re stopping and starting. You’re just inconsistent. You’re like, nobody cares anyways. Nobody believes in me. Why do I even want to do this? After, you are focused. You’re supported. You’re disciplined.
And the thing is that many people who get it, um, are, who are around you, right, and are here to hold you accountable, they encourage you to keep going. So that results in leaving the job, leaving the relationship, asking for the raise, applying for the job, starting on the podcast that you said you were going to start on, creating the content.
So Nancy is one of my clients. She, I also did an Instagram live with her. She was a lawyer. Um, she’s a money guru and she’s also a Latina in tech and Nancy was successful on paper, right? She was the unfulfilled achiever and she felt unfulfilled and like she lacked purpose But she knew that she wanted to walk away from her law career by leveraging the accountability loop actually Bianca who I talked about earlier
and Nancy were each other’s accountability buddies, and they both supported one another in leaving their jobs.
so Nancy had this accountability buddy, which was Bianca, and she mentioned, Nancy mentioned in my interview with her, how having an accountability partner within Courage Driven Latina kept her on track.
This loop is why she had the courage And the thing is that they regularly checked in, which created a sense of responsibility and momentum. So constantly having somebody validate what you’re going through and who’s going into the same place.it’s not just having a little buddy here and there, it’s about being surrounded by people who understand where you’re going, who’ve either been where you’re going or who want to go where it is that you want to go.
Because the key to not caring what people think is caring about what the Right people think, right? So like, the people who are going where you’re going, surround yourself with them. And listen to your family members when it comes to their salsa recipes, or how to make tamales, or like, you know, the things, everybody has their specialties.
There’s um, a lot of things I go to my mom for. Not business stuff, not content creation stuff. so, that is the key with the accountability loop. So let’s recap, cause we’ve gone through, um, A lot so far and we are at the 43 minute mark. So what you want is to change your life and you want to finally start the project or the business that you’ve dreamt of.
What’s stopping you is that you lack the courage to change your life. What you need is you need the courage to strive for more. Remember, you’re already courageous. It’s not something that is outside of you that you need to go find. You’re already a courageous being. Just the act of being here today is an act of courage.

I am not kidding.
Women who were in the program last year have actually gotten together to start a podcast together. So you never know what will happen here and what kind of connections you will make inside of Courage Driven Latina. There is no better time than now.
You can start from exactly where you are. And I have a proven process to help you go from idea to fully executed project. Your life will look completely different in 90 days. It does not have to take long, but remember the doors are closing on December 17th.
Secure your spot today by going to courage driven latina. com. You can learn a lot more and we do have a pay in full option or payment options. There is no better time than right now. I cannot wait to work with you.
How is it that you can do this? Well, you start with the skill of courage, but then you also use a courage project plan as your structure. And then the strategies are that there’s the courage compass, lets you know where to start, the obstacle plan, And last but not least, the accountability loop.
All right. So I told you all I would let you know whenever the training portion is done. So this concludes the training portion. If you would like to learn how to change your life and how to implement these strategies, I’m going to talk to you about my program.
focused on that. And that program is Courage Driven Latina.I would love to invite you to Courage Driven Latina. If this webinar resonated with you, here’s what it is.
It is a transformational group program. We have a few people here who are already in the program, and it is a transformational group program to help you execute your courage project in 90 days. You get to change your life with a courage project. The thing is, as soon as you purchase, you’re going to get immediate access to the program, to the weekly live coaching, and to the bonus workshops.
I’m going to tell you what all of that is right now. You can sign up by going to couragedrivenlatina. com and then you will find the paying full option, the payment option, testimonials, more information about the program itself, but I’m going to tell you about it right now. So in the first 30 days of Courage Driven Latina, you’re going to go from an idea to taking action on a project.
Remember a project is that thing that you’ve been wanting to do, whether it’s the business, creating content, working on your confidence, um, writing a book, you’re going to go from doubting yourself to building unshakable confidence and learning the tools to deal with doubt because doubt is going to come up.
Even I experienced doubt after having a business for so long. Because there’s, you know, every time we level up, there’s going to be more doubt. So how can you learn the tools to deal with the doubt as it comes up? The other thing is fearing failure. You’re going to fear failure to having an obstacle contingency plan.
You’re going to have a plan for any obstacle. So you feel prepared. You’re going to go from being worried about what your distant family members or what your coworkers might think. Oh man, especially right now, as we’re like in holiday season, right? It can be so, it’s just natural for family members to be like.
Um, so what have you been up to? How’s life? Y el novio? You know, and it’s like it most of the time it doesn’t mean any, they’re not trying to trigger us, but it can be really triggering. So you’re going to go from being worried about what your distant family members think to having such a solid support system that you don’t even think about those other people.
Remember, this is the accountability loop. It’s the key is surrounding yourself with people whose opinion you actually do want to hear. Another one is from procrastinating to putting things off. I’m sorry, from procrastinating and putting things off to changing your life with a solid plan in 90 days. So let’s look at what is inside of the Courage Driven Latina curriculum.
Um, so the first one is the first module is all about how we practice courage inside of Courage Driven Latina. This is um, the framework we follow as well as overcoming doubt and fear and how to easily overcome the doubt and fear. You’re gonna learn the skill of courage in this module and you’re gonna learn those tools to overcome fear and self doubt.
Milestone one. So this one’s the introduction because we all need to learn the skill of courage in order to be doing, to do anything else. So once we get to milestone one. That is when you get a step by step guide to help you pick your goal that you want to work on. That’s where the courage compass is, where you get your courage project.
We also help you find clarity using a guided visualization. We have videos on what to do if you pick the wrong project, what to do when your friends, family, and partner don’t support your courage project. If you don’t know what to pick, watch this. Like, we’ve got your back. We help you pick a project within the first two weeks of the program.
Milestone two is all about completing your So this is a step by step video helping you complete your project plan. And then once you submit your project, I’ll review it and give it back to you within 72 hours. So I can say, Hey, This looks really good. Try maybe adding this or how are you going to celebrate when you’re done with your project or for the obstacle contingency plan?
Have you thought about this solution instead? So you’ll get feedback from myself or my support coach Maideli. And this is what the Courage Project Plan looks like. So we’ve got the Courage Project Cycle, the Courage Project, this is the ladder I was talking about. I mean, this, this is the Obstacle Contingency Plan.
here it is. All right, possible obstacles. All right, what you’re gonna do. And then milestone three is all about different paths. So because this program is a year long, people tend to do So either all the paths or at least three of the paths. So there’s a video for each path.
These are the confidence path. If you’re working on self love, that kind of falls in there. There’s also the content creation path. And that one is all about podcasting. There is social media. There’s a social media workshop. There’s also, um, a podcast course that I hired my podcast manager to do. In here, there’s also my TikTok course.
I had taught a TikTok course back in 2021. That’s included in here. And the thing is that a lot of my clients expressed interest in starting a podcast. And my, I mean, a lot of you that I spoke with before we were recording had talked about the podcast and how you were listeners of the podcast. My podcast has totally transformed my life, my business.
It’s connected me to so many amazing people. So we ended up adding a podcast course to Courage Driven Latina, which I just mentioned, which we’ve I’ve hired my podcast manager to do. So this one’s all about how to launch your podcast in 98 days. And we’ve had some pretty amazing podcasts launched from this program.
So we’ve got Jess right here, Vida I Wish I Knew Then. We also have Tatiana right here. She is resilient. And then we have Anai, the Querida Latina podcast. And then This is my favorite just because it’s a testament to how when you’re surrounded by the right people they help you reach your goals so much faster.
These three women met in Courage Driven Latina. One of them lives in New York, the other one lives in New Mexico, and the other one lives somewhere else on the east coast. I think Connecticut? I could have that wrong. But they all created the Latinas in Transformation podcast.
So there is enough room for you if you want to create a podcast. this one is all about, this is still milestone three career courage project. So this one’s all about helping you set boundaries, advocating for yourself at work, um, how to deal with layoffs. how to know it’s time to move on from a job, and then also some Chingona Revolution podcast episodes all about career.
The next one is the business route, so the CEO route. And this path is all about how to execute your business courage project. And we also have monthly business coaching calls
So then once we get to milestone four, if you’re worried about not having time or that you’ll get stuck, we have a whole piece of the project for that. And it’s all about staying consistent with your courage project until the end. And it’s how to make time for your courage project, how to get unstuck.
We have resources for pretty much everything. And then, Milestone 5, once you’re done with your first project, like Kay was, then we help you pick your next project. Because usually, one project leads to another project. So we help you audit your project and then pick your next project.
So, a lot of people are working on their confidence in the program. A lot of people are working on content creation, and then we have people working on their career and on their business. So that’s why we have a separate call for career in business to help you with specifically career and business y stuff.
There’s also bonus workshops. that are amazing. Like we have a sexologist, we have setting boundaries, we have how to plan for the new year or quarter, manifesting your life’s purpose, a morning routine video, building strong habits, and you get immediate access to everything. So what are the results from this program?
So Courage Driven Latina results are 98 percent of the people who join the program have more confidence and a hundred percent of them have more clarity. So if you feel stuck, this is the program for you because a hundred percent of the people who’ve joined have more clarity. A hundred. This was like my favorite statistic right here.
A hundred percent say that being encouraged driven Latina has positively shifted the way they think and talk about themselves. That is. One of the best things I could hear because how you feel about yourself determines your life, right? If you love yourself, you’re not going to stay in a toxic relationship.
If you positively view yourself, you’re not going to stay at a job that’s not for you. You are more likely to take risks. You’re more likely to put yourself in situations where you can win. And then, um, the majority also said that their community and support system improved since joining Courage Driven Latina, which you saw with the podcasts.
So what do you get? So you get weekly live coaching. Um, I was just going over what’s inside of the live videos. On top of that, you don’t, it’s not just a course. So just like we’re on zoom right now. Every Tuesday evening, there is a call. So we have weekly live coaching calls that are 90 minutes long. We have a business call every month also on zoom.
We have the videos, which is what I just shared with all of you. The breakdown of what you get immediate access to. Also in person events, they’re typically just for my clients. So you get access to in person events. I also coach you through Slack. So there is in a Slack community. So in between calls, if you need help, you just submit something in Slack and then we will respond.
You also get worksheets. So you obviously get the Courage Project Plan, but there’s other worksheets as well. There’s worksheets to help you overcome self doubt. There are worksheets for, um, I have like a Healing Your Inner Child workshop. There’s a worksheet for that. And then you get immediate access, as I mentioned, and then there’s also a private podcast.
So if you ever miss a meeting, you can always jump on during the private or you can always listen to the meeting on the private podcast on the road. And the investment for this program is 2, 222 if you pay in full or five payments of 444. 40. Obviously I like my angel numbers. so much. And 222 is all about community and then 444 is all about protection and guidance and, and all that.
So it all has meaning in my mind. So you can sign up right now by going to couragedrivenlatina. com. There is a special bonus though, especially because you are all here for the webinar. So what you do is you go to couragedrivenlatina. com, there is the enroll now option, and then you’ll see the two payments.
And then this is the one time payment, the five monthly payments. And then this is the screen you’ll see once you sign. Then you are in and then we have the bonus. So this bonus is a 48 hour bonus. So it ends on Wednesday But if you know you want to join Sign up as soon as possible So you’re going to get a one on one call with myself or with my daily on my my support coach And on this call we’re going to help you Pick your courage project and also create your whole plan with you.
Not just your first courage project, we’re going to help you create your plan for your first 90 days and what it is that you want to accomplish during your time in the program, which is a year long program. This one on one call call. is invaluable. You get one on one time with a coach who’s been working with hundreds of people.
There’s nothing we haven’t seen. So we help you every step of the way. And with over 250 alums, the number one complaint we got about this program is that they were just sad it was over because it used to be 12 weeks. So a lot of these success stories you’re 90 day program. So we extended it for the year.
And we’ve already had it for a year. So now I can tell you what has happened. Now that people have been in the program for a year, the clients that have been encouraged driven Latina for a year are seeing life changing results. They are completely reinventing themselves. So they’ve had the opportunity to work on anywhere between four to five courage projects.
These projects include launching podcasts, negotiating, negotiating their salaries at work. Dating, taking on clients, and then the best part of this is, if they go on vacation for a few weeks, or let’s say that they’re sick, they don’t feel like they’re missing 30 percent of the program. Before, when it was only 90 days, if they were sick for three weeks, they missed a third of the program.
So, this means that you don’t have to attend every call. The program’s always there for you when you need it. And just a reminder, this is everything you get. I am going to open it up for questions. So if you have questions, you, oh wait, for the weekly live calls, can you share a bit more on how they’re structured?
Yes. So the weekly live calls, you show up. And it is a group call. So these calls are all about helping you with your courage project. So where is it that you’re stuck? What is it that you need help with? Um, I’ve had somebody, like I had somebody working on a podcast project, but they were having life stuff come up, right?
So relationship things were coming up. So they were able to bring that to the, to the program as well, especially because people, this is a life and business program. So you can bring life and business coaching questions. And the way that it works is everybody shows up on the call and I say, Okay, who needs coaching and it’s really just an open time to ensure that people get the support they need But the beautiful thing about it being a group program is that maybe Christina you you aren’t thinking about a specific question, but somebody else asks and you’re like, Ooh, I didn’t even know I needed to like hear that coaching or that was relevant for me as well.
And that happens a lot because you’re all working towards something that feels ambitious, that feels scary. So even if somebody else is getting coached, it’s typically really helpful for you and everyone else in the room as well. And there’s plenty of time to get coached because again, it’s weekly meetings.
They’re long meetings are 90 minutes. I even had somebody who was only available for the first hour. So she would just join and say, Hey, I got to leave at this time. Can I go first for coaching? And we would just let her go first. And then she would drop and then listen in to the rest. Of course. So again, what you get is the weekly live coaching calls, the monthly business call, the immediate access to all of those videos that I just shared with you all, and then access to in person events.
Sometimes we do picnics, sometimes we do actual conferences. There’s also Slack support, and then you get access to all of the worksheets. You get immediate access to the program, and then there’s also the private podcast. So you never miss anything. Again, that investment is all twos, it’s paid in full, or you can choose the monthly payment options and that gets you access for an entire year.
At the end of the year, you get to decide do you want to sign up again? Did you have enough? One of the girls that we have on right now I don’t know if she’s still on, but Areli, yes, she’s in the program three years, I think she’s in the program. She’s been in it. So again, go to couragedrivenlatina. com and sign up right now if you know that this is something that you want to do.
All right, so here are some frequently asked questions. I’m not sure if I can commit for 12 months. Um, I never thought this would actually be a question. I was like, oh, this is great. It’s a year long. But some people are like, wait, it’s a year long? So what we’ve learned is that https: otter. ai during the summer or like if you’re a parent and your kids get sick, there are times in which you can’t make the meeting.
So committing for 12 months, you get access for 12 months and you use as much as you want. But what we have found is that once you get into the momentum of having one courage project, you’re going to use the 12 months. If you do miss a meeting, you don’t have to worry about it because we put it on the private podcast.
So you can always catch up on that. And the other thing, um, does this work for me if I don’t want to start a business? Definitely. Yeah, both Tania and Adeli are not working on businesses. They’re both working on career, life, dating projects. Those are all the projects that they’ve, that they’ve worked on.
But Flaca, who’s also on here, she worked on life and business. So here are some of the paths. I talked about them previously. Confidence. So this is for you. If you want to build unshakable confidence and self trust, regardless of what anybody says or thinks about you, but you’re maybe constantly worrying about what are people going to say about me or content.
So maybe you’ve been wanting to create content, maybe an Instagram page, a podcast, a book, and you want to inspire and educate your community, but your perfectionism and your overthinking is stopping you from putting yourself out there and taking the first step. Career. Maybe you want to show up at work knowing that you bring value, advocating for yourself, and setting clear boundaries.
However, you’re overworking, you’re keeping your head down, you’re burning out, and you’re thinking about quitting without a plan. And courage driven latina is for you if you’ve always dreamt of starting or growing a business that changes lives, but you’ve been telling yourself that you can’t do it until you have another degree or certification, or maybe you’re telling yourself, I have to do more research.
So the bonus, ends on the 11th. So to get the one on one call with one of the coaches, with myself or with Meideli , you have to ensure that you are signed up before the 11th. So on this call, we’re going to help you pick your courage project and create a plan for you in the first 90 days. Here’s some of the community photos.
And we have alums. That include moms, dog moms, non moms, stay at home moms, non profit workers, lawyers, tech workers, aspiring business owners, advanced business owners, right? This also works for you if you’ve already gotten started but you’re ready to go to the next level. Um, people who are not interested in business at all.
It works for introverts, extroverts, people who didn’t like college, people who are getting their PhD. That’s Arely, who’s on here right now. She’s getting her PhD, um, social media influencers. And then people who do not want anything to do with social media. This program works for you because it helps you by giving you the structure, the accountability and the plan to reach your goals.
It doesn’t matter what your goals are. Again, this is one live coaching call, I’m sorry, one weekly live coaching call, one business call per month, immediate access to the videos, access to in person events, Slack support, Courage Driven Latina worksheets, immediate access to everything that I’ve mentioned as well as the private podcast.
The reason I emphasize on the immediate access is because sometimes programs start in like a month or something like that. Nope, this program’s already going. So we get you in right away. Yeah, so, who has questions? I am open.
So, what if I don’t want to post on social media? You definitely don’t have to. That doesn’t have to be your Courage Project. What if I don’t have a ton of time? I work full time and I’m a mom. You don’t need a lot of time for this program.
Between the weekly calls and working on your project, I would say two to three hours a week. Which is probably About how much time we’re all spending scrolling on social media every day. What if I don’t know what my courage project is? You do not have to have your courage project picked. We help you do that in the program.
That’s one of the first things that we help you do. Another question is, do programs like these really work? They do. They do because we have evidence. I mean, the two people that are here that, actually three people who are on here who are in the program, I mean, two of them have joined multiple times, and they’ve all gotten the results that they were looking for.
But the reason that I know that programs like this work is because we’ve had this program since 2020. This is not, my first rodeo. I’ve supported over 250 women in this program, so it is definitely something that’s been tested. It’s something, I mean, the first version of this program did not have all of the bells and whistles that this has now, so it definitely works.
Courage Driven Athena is for you if you’re successful on paper but you feel like something is missing. You identify as the black sheep in your family or friend group. You’re tired of overthinking and you are ready to take brave action. You know that you’re meant for something way bigger, even if you don’t know what exactly that is yet.
And you have many interests and you’re not sure which one to focus on. We’re going to help you with all of that inside of Courage Driven Latina. Or maybe you know what you want, but you don’t know how to get there. So maybe you struggle with overthinking or you’re having a hard time taking action. Maybe you’ve had some life changing things happen and you’re not even sure who you are anymore, right?
Maybe you’re just looking for self discovery. Or if you’ve outgrown your friend group and you’re looking for a community that challenges and supports you, this is the space for you. So again, CourageDrivenLatina. com, sign up there. I’m going to open it up for questions. I don’t know if I have any more questions here. Oh yeah, how can I justify this to my partner? So, you can justify this to your partner by, one, this is an educational slash business expense, right? So just like tuition in college is a, is a write off on your taxes.
So is Courage Driven Latina. Um, if you do have a business, it’s definitely a tax write off. The other question that people get, actually, sorry, the other thing about the husband and partner question, a lot of us are looking for validation from our partners and they don’t know how to validate us, right? So even just asking for support, hey, you may not understand why I want to do this, but I’m asking for your support.
Or maybe even, um, letting them that, you know, I’m going to have less. Expectations of you as my partner because I’m going to be surrounded by all of these people who get what I’m doing. Um, Hi, Evelyn on Instagram Live. The website is couragedrivenlatina. com Which I probably could have pinned here. If you just go to my, uh, profile and then go to the link on my Flaca, you’re on both. You’re on Zoom and on Instagram Live. I love it. Um, but Evelyn, if you go to the link in my profile, you’ll see Courage Driven Latina, or I think it might be the How to Make 2025 Your Courage Year.
If you click on that, it’ll take you to the page where you can, where you can sign up. All right. Oh, another one. I feel like I might be too old. Oh my gosh, I get that so many times. People who have the best results in this program, actually, um, there’s been three people in this program who are grandmothers, all get amazing results.
And I think it’s just because when you have more life experience, you don’t got time to fuck around anymore, right? You’re just like, let’s get this shit done. People have really good results. I mean, we have people anywhere from early twenties to sixties in this program. And they, all excelled. They’ve all done so well.
Um, another one is I want to join but I’m already in another program. This program is all about giving you the structure, the accountability to help you reach your goals. It does not conflict with other programs. Most people in the program are also in something else. They could be in a program, like I had somebody who was in a program teaching her how to do eyelash extensions and her courage project was starting the business of doing eyelash extensions for example.
And Q& A! So who has questions? Feel free to unmute yourself. This is a safe space. I do not bite. Any questions that may be coming up, maybe you’re like, I really want to sign up, but, and chances are you won’t be the only one that has the same question. So ask away.
Can you hear me, Erica? Yes. Hi, I miss you. Hi, we miss you. I’m wondering about the days and times of the call. I might have missed that part because my internet’s wonky. But what are they still? What was it like? Was it Tuesday? Tuesday at 5 o’clock and then the business calls are Wednesday at um, 11.
Pacific time, so for you it’s 1 o’clock. Okay. And then I did send an email to all of you who um, signed up for the webinar. And in that email, there’s the link to sign up as well.
All right, well we will send out the replay. Do not forget that the bonus expires on Wednesday. So if you know that this is something you want to do, do not delay. Um, somebody asked how often I offer this program. We tend to open enrollment two times a year or so. This is obviously the last time we’ll open enrollment for 2024.
But if you know that 2025 is the year that you are ready to take action, sign up and do not wait. You will not regret it. You’re going to have support literally all of 2025 with this program to help you with starting the business, the podcast, anything it is that you want to do.
right y’all. Thank you so much for joining me. Thank you for spending the evening with me. Have a great night, and we will send out the recording as soon as it renders. All right. Thanks everyone. Bye.
