Dr. Alma immigrated from Mexico with her parents while still breastfeeding. She’s the first one in the family to pursue higher education and obtain a Doctorate in Pharmacy. Currently, Alma is a Clinical Oncology pharmacist disenfranchised by western medicine in more ways than one. In the last few years, she’s turned to functional nutrition and holistic medicine to get back to health. Now, Alma is actively pursuing a functional nutrition coaching certificate to help others achieve good health. Her goal is to make this information accessible, to educate and empower our community to create better health outcomes for themselves and their families.
